Newstools Suite: tools across the newsroom workflow

Newstools Suite brings together tools that can run individually or within a coordinated workflow. The platform supports full article preparation and the small operations that take time every day. An implementation's scope depends on the sources, languages, users, and systems the newsroom needs.

Find and organize material

Discovery works with configured RSS feeds and sitemaps, analyzes candidate relevance, and groups related material. The team can explore articles, create manual groups, add URLs, and select what to send into production. Articles retain their relationships with projects and sources to preserve context.

Content extraction retrieves usable text from a URL. The papers workflow can ingest scientific PDFs, structure their information, and prepare explanatory articles. Review must preserve the distinction between findings from the document and added context.

Produce and adapt

Generation can start from one source or combine several. Quality workflows add planning, drafting, review, and evaluation. Style Transfer adapts text to a configured editorial style; Text Rewriter provides rewriting operations in formal, journalistic, or blog registers.

Translation combines translation tools and editorial normalization, with a history of results. Teams can prepare versions for other languages while retaining names, data, quotations, and structure. Each language needs its own style criteria and a review suited to its audience.

Editing utilities

Summaries produce short formats, a paragraph, or an executive overview. The headline generator proposes variants for the editor to choose from. Quote extraction identifies highlights and attributions that should be checked against the original material.

SEO utilities prepare titles, descriptions, and FAQ proposals. The formatter turns content into structured HTML. None of these operations guarantees search outcomes: they solve part of the editorial and technical workload, and they require validation.

The prompt optimizer helps define instructions, formats, and constraints, and can convert them into a structured representation. The affiliate comparator has a specific workflow for extracting product information and preparing comparisons; commercial facts and conclusions need review before publication.

Verification and quality signals

Fact Verification works with claims and their evidence. Enrichment identifies entities, searches for context in approved sources, and records changes. Editorial gates evaluate configured criteria before authorizing automated delivery in the workflows that use them.

The text analysis technology we present as Gpector includes linguistic and statistical signals, with additional integrations depending on configuration. Its role is to guide the review of possible LLM patterns. A score does not prove authorship and does not replace factual verification or the editorial decision.

Deliver and manage

Implemented connectors include WordPress, Strapi, Airtable, webhooks, and n8n. They support field mapping, connection checks, and export records. Project policy decides whether the destination receives a draft and what approval is needed afterward.

Administration manages organizations, users, models, modules, and versioned prompts. Queues process long tasks, and observability retains traces, usage, and costs. The API and the MCP layer allow these capabilities to be integrated into other agents.

Suite can be deployed as a toolbox for editors and grow into a Content Factory. The first step is to choose a specific workflow, connect the right data, and verify the outcome with the team that will use it. Additional modules can then be introduced, each with its own checks and owners.
